Darren was born in Korea, he was brought up there and received his tertiary education from Korea. Darren is a graduate from the University of Korea with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. Since then, Darren has been working in the tourism industry. He is proficient in speaking Mandarin and Cantonese. Darren joined IFTM in 2005, he has taught numerous courses in tour guiding, and he is involved in the simultaneous translation. Apart from the academic teaching, Darren also works as an invigilator for the practical tour guide exam and the language tests. Besides, Darren has completed Program for Korean Language Teachers from Korean University in 2009. He has been teaching Korean language courses over these years, which was popular by many locals who loved to learn more of the Korean language and culture..
