Biography

Lucy joined UTM as a Lecturer in 2024, she is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree in Hotel Management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her tenure in the hospitality industry spans more than 15 years, with internationally acclaimed luxury hotel chains such as The Ritz-Carlton and Wynn has exposed her to high standards of service and has honed her skills in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Lucy's professional journey has encompassed a wide range of departments, including Housekeeping, Front Office, Guest Relations, Sales & Marketing, Reservations, and Human Resources. This diverse background has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations. Moreover, she has developed specialized proficiency as a trainer in hotel information systems, specifically in PMS, CRS, and CRM. With the solid theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience,  Lucy has been appointed as a judge of the AICR World Front Office Skills Competition for two consecutive years, and an expert judge of the "Shenhe Cup". Beyond her professional endeavors, Lucy's passion for the local culture is evident.  She actively assumes the role of an ambassador, dedicating herself to promoting and preserving the history and cultural heritage of Macao.
