Biography

With wealth of experience as a Communications and Marketing professional for Nearly 20 years, Serena ‘s professional background encompasses extensive experiences across multiple international integrated resorts including Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace, City of Dreams and Sands China. Prior to joining UTM, Serena served as the Executive Director of Public Relations at Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace as a pre-opening member. In 2014, She was invited to return to Wynn as a pre-opening team member for Wynn Palace. In her initial role as Public Relations Manager, Serena created the PR and brand strategy with the Communications team. She invited more than 300 media from around world to attend the opening of Wynn Palace in 2016. She also established a new PR strategy and messaging for Wynn Palace. In view of the successful opening, positive media coverage and excellent brand strategy for Wynn Palace, Serena was promoted to the role of Assistant Director shortly after the opening in 2017, where she would oversee both Corporate PR and Property PR. In this role, she focused on strategic and event planning, crisis management, corporate and promotional message development, as well as internal training for the team. Most recently, Serena was promoted to Executive Director where she was responsible for strategic planning of PR and Marketing for both Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace. She was also engaged in project management, brand and corporate message development, executive interview planning and PR training for executives.
