education through diverse activities, involving 51 students from the Guangzhou College of Technology and Business<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To foster cultural exchange and arts education, IFTM\u2019s School of Continuing Education (SCE) conducted the \u201cCultural Innovative Programme for Music Talents in the Greater Bay Area\u201d from 5 to 11 November. The comprehensive programme took place in Macao and spanned 7 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It featured a range of activities and themes, including \u201cMusic Event Planning and Practice\u201d, \u201cPerforming Arts Management\u201d, \u201cMusic Analysis\u201d,&nbsp;&nbsp;\u201cChinese opera and Urban Renewal\u201d, and exploration of the Historic Centre of Macao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The collaborative initiative brought together the expertise of IFTM and the Guangzhou College of Technology and Business. A total of 51 students from the Mainland higher education institution participated in the&nbsp;cultural&nbsp;programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the opening ceremony on 6 November, Ms. Sarah Wu Veng Si, Coordinator for Language and Culture Courses at IFTM\u2019s School of Continuing Education, delivered a welcoming speech. She expressed her aspirations for strengthening collaboration between the 2 institutions through the&nbsp;cultural&nbsp;programme, with the aim of making use of each other\u2019s strengths in talent development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Jian Wanning, Assistant to the Dean of the International Education School at Guangzhou College of Technology and Business, commended the arrangements put in place for the programme. He encouraged students to use the opportunity to experience the diverse educational models offered by IFTM, saying such experience could broaden their horizons and enhance their capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the guidance of Mr. Kelvin Leong Ka Hou, Coordinator for Arts and Creative Studies Courses at IFTM\u2019s School of Continuing Education, the programme featured 3 musical performance planning and practice sessions. The students ultimately showcased their talents in a performance on 9 November at the Team Building\u2019s Auditorium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond lectures and stage performances, the programme incorporated field trips to heritage sites, the Macao Museum of Art, and the integrated resort MGM Macau.
