It will enable IFTM students to study for a year in Switzerland and get a bachelor’s degree from either of 2 schools within the Swiss Education Group, in addition to a bachelor’s degree from IFTM.

The link-up “allows 2 internationally-respected” higher education providers to create a “unique” opportunity to enrich student learning, says IFTM.

The “3+1” scheme is available to those bachelor’s degree students enrolled either in the Institute’s Hotel Management programme or the Tourism Event Management programme. The diploma option does not require students to go to Switzerland: it is based on the Swiss side recognising the standards of educational excellence in place at IFTM.

IFTM has more than 150 partners across more than 30 countries and regions, drawn from either the educational sector or other fields. The Institute also has partnerships with a range of leading companies in the tourism and hospitality industry at home and abroad, to provide IFTM students with internships and other learning opportunities.

IFTM has formed a partnership with the Swiss Education Group, one of the world’s top tourism and hospitality education providers, to offer a dual bachelor’s degree programme.
