UTM held 2025 Career Day on 4 March at UTM Taipa Campus. On the same day, an “Alumni Career Sharing Session” was held, inviting two alumni as guest speakers—Mr. Frank Ng, Director of Revenue Strategy at JW Marriott Hotel & The Ritz Carlton Macau, and Mr. Joseph Kim, former Director of Welcome at W Macau - Studio City. The two alumni shared in-depth their personal career journeys, discussing the growth trajectory from being newcomers in the workplace to reaching management levels, as well as analysing the key challenges and breakthrough opportunities they faced along the way. They also provided insights into industry trends and practical advice for graduating students, helping them smoothly transition from campus life to the professional world.

The UTM Alumni Association joined the alma mater in supporting the Walk For A Million! UTM Alumni are contributing both financially and physically to support charitable causes.

Thank you all for participating in the Alumni Cocktail Party held by the UTM Alumni Association on the afternoon of November 23! The event was a great success, providing us the opportunity to reunite, rekindle friendships, and strengthen the connections within the UTM family. During the event, fellow alumni shared their achievements with each other, enjoyed delicious snacks and drinks, and engaged in meaningful conversations in a relaxed atmosphere. Macao University of Tourism (UTM) held 2024 Career Day on 16 April at UTM Taipa Campus. A total of 65 organisations (including 3 from Guangdong and 1 from Hong Kong SAR) from various sectors set booths and provided over 1,500 job vacancies with job details and employment information, as well as the latest trend in the job market to UTM graduating students. On the same day, two alumni, Ms. Fifi Wong, Vice President of HR Business Partner at Galaxy Entertainment Group and Mr. Ricky Chan, Director, Housekeeping at The St. Regis Macao were invited to share their personal experiences, challenges, and successes in navigating their career path. They also provided practical tips for a successful transition from campus life to the professional world for the graduating students.

IFTM Alumni Association recently organised a visit to the non-gaming facilities of Galaxy Entertainment Group’s Phase 3 project, including the Galaxy International Convention Center, Galaxy Arena, Galaxy Auditorium and Andaz Hotel.
