Abstract

UTM email is the main form of communication between UTM staff, course coordinators, tutors and students. Macao University of Tourism (UTM) provides email service for all full-time staff and students.

What is [UTM Email]?

Email is the most popular means of electronic communication nowadays and has become an essential tool for work and study. UTM provides its Email services to all full-time staff and students. A standard email address is in the form of [username] @ utm.edu.mo where 'username' is usually the student number or staff's English name. The password will be the same as the user account password. Email can be handily accessed through MS Outlook or MS Outlook Web Access. Normally IT will install MS Outlook in a staff's computer while students will use MS Outlook Web Access for accessing email.

Academic and administrative information will be sent to students' email accounts. To ensure that the mailbox storage capacity does not exceed the upper limit, users should check and organize their accounts regularly to ensure that they do not miss any important messages. They should also delete emails regularly or save important emails to their personal computers. In addition, to protect users' personal data, UTM strongly recommends that students and staff use UTM Email to communicate with UTM to protect their privacy and data.
