Intangible Cultural Heritage Series: "Graceful and Swaying" Kite Exhibition

Kite-making skill is a national intangible cultural heritage, including the four processes of tying, painting, pasting and flying, and have a long cultural history. In order to promote this traditional craft to the public, the Institute of Executive and Professional Development (original unit name: School of Continuing Education) and the Macao Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Kite Association jointly organized the ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage Series: "Graceful and Swaying" - Seminar on the Art of Kite Flying and Handmade Kite Workshop’ earlier this month. The response to the event was overwhelming, and the participants made a lot of lifelike kites under the guidance of the instructors.

The outstanding works of the teachers and students participating in this event will be exhibited in the Library of Forward Building of the UTM Taipa Campus starting this month. In the future, the Institute of Executive and Professional Development (original unit name: School of Continuing Education) will showcase more outstanding works of different types of courses and workshops to add more creativity and vitality to the campus environment.
