Pre-Service Vocational Training Programme is a series of pre-vocational courses offered to high school students currently enrolled in Form 4, 5 and 6 (grade 10 to 12). The objective is to introduce and develop service, hotel and tourism related skills and knowledge to the students. These courses can be held in high schools as part of the students' extra-curricular activities and/or in the premises of UTM.

| Venue & Set-up | When the courses are held in the high school, the training venue including training equipment and printing of handouts are to be arranged by the respective school. Normal classroom set-up with equipped computer, projector, A/V equipment and writing board will be required by all courses and an addition of table utensils for Western and Chinese Restaurant Service Skills courses. |
