Mr. Joey Pather, Senior Vice President of the Galaxy International Convention Center, was invited as a distinguished speaker for the series of guest lectures of the new Master of Science in International Events Management programme. Mr. Pather walked students through his journey around the world, taking up key roles within the events industry in China, South Africa and Europe before taking up his current position in Galaxy Entertainment Group. He shared his experience in innovation and design in the events industry by drawing from his rich experience and insights of the industry. Students were able to expand their horizons and learn from an international veteran from the events industry from a practical perspective, therefore enriching the knowledge learnt from lectures and academic projects.
