On October 7, the MSc International Events Management (IEM) programme at UTM invited Professor Zhang Xiaoming, the Vice Dean of the School of Tourism at Sun Yat-sen University, to deliver a guest lecture. Professor Zhang's lecture, titled "Enhancing Connections—Exploring the Core Values of Events," used several practical cases to highlight the importance and specific applications of creative design in contributing to the core values of special events. The lecture concluded with Professor Zhang providing detailed answers to students' questions. Students expressed their appreciation for the lecture, noting that it broadened their understanding of event design and offered valuable insights.
