Students from the MSc in International Events Management programme learnt about the importance of space in event production by guest speaker Kenny Yeung. An alumnus from UTM's BSc Tourism Event Management programme, Kenny has always been fascinated with technology and the technical side of events. Particularly following the COVID-19 pandemic, events are now fluid in the sense that they are held physically, online or in hybrid forms. Contemporary event managers need to understand the drivers and barriers of each kind of events that take place in different forms. Drawing from his years of frontline experience in event production, Kenny captivated the students with his perspectives in event production.
