The Macao University of Tourism (UTM) Wine Appreciation Club, an affiliate of the UTM Student Union was invited to support the “SJM Asia Top Sommelier Summit 2024” organized by the Asia Wine Institute in partnership with title sponsor SJM Resorts. The summit brings together top sommeliers from across Asia, and leading experts in wine to discuss and jointly promote the advancement of the wine industry. In the series of event from October 17 to 18 including the “China National Sommelier Competition”, “China’s Wine List of the Year Awards” ceremony and gala dinner, three students from the Club provided professional services to over 300 wine industry professionals. Their performance was highly commended by the organizer.
