On September 23, Macao University of Tourism (UTM) organized a visit for 28 new students from the MSc International Events Management (IEM) programme to tour Sands China’s MICE facilities at The Parisian Macao and The Venetian Macao.
During the visit, executives from Sands China’s conventions and exhibitions operations provided insights into Sands China’s developmental vision and strategies in the MICE industry. They also shared and exchanged ideas with students on career development planning in the MICE field. Students toured Sands China’s exhibition halls, conference and banquet halls, theaters, and other exhibition and entertainment facilities, engaging in interactive discussions with on-site venue managers.
This visit provided valuable insights into the development of Macao’s convention and exhibition industry for the new students in the MSc IEM programme, broadening their horizons for future study and career development.
