UTM delegation visited the Zhuhai College of Science and Technology (ZCST). The group consisted of Coordinators for Hotel Management Programme - Dr Jenny Guan, Coordinators for Tourism Event Management programme - Dr Ubaldino Couto, and five UTM postgraduate students from the Master of International Events Management and Doctor of Philosophy programmes. The visit aimed to strengthening the ties and explore research collaborations between the two institutions. The UTM team delivered a seminar on career prospects in the tourism, hospitality and events Industries, and another on UTM’s role in advancing tourism and hospitality education in the region at postgraduate level. The two seminars were also greatly supported by the postgraduate students who shared their experience of studying at UTM. The visit concluded with a working dinner with the Dean and faculty members of the College of Health at ZCST.
