Following a recent visit to UTM delegation to the Zhuhai College of Science and Technology (ZCST), the Academic Coordinators of the Faculty of Innovative Hospitality Management visited the College of Health to meet students and faculty, as well as to explore collaborations, particularly for the new Master of Science in Luxury Hospitality and Health Service Management programme.
The delegation consisted of FIHM Academic Coordinators for Culinary Arts Management Programme - Dr Christy Ng, Hotel Management Programme - Dr Jenny Guan, and Tourism Event Management programme - Dr Ubaldino Couto. During the visit, Dr Ng delivered a seminar on nutrition and sustainability, followed by a presentation by Dr Guan and Dr Couto on UTM developments and diversity of programmes. Students from the College of Health participated in the seminars enthusiastically and were interested in the continued economic developments of Macao and UTM. The Coordinators also visited the state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities of the new building dedicated to the programmes by College of Health.
The visit concluded with a working dinner with the Dean and faculty members of the College of Health to exchange ideas and explore collaborations on teaching and research.
