The 7th International Conference on Events – Making Waves in Asia: Exploring New Frontiers in Festivals and Events in Beijing, China (ICE2025) was successfully held in Beijing, China! Hosted by the Beijing International Studies University and co-organised by Macao University of Tourism, Bournemouth University and Cape Peninsula University of Technology, the conference brought together scholars, industry professionals and students for thought-provoking discussions and fruitful conversations, network opportunities and site visits to Beijing event facilities. The UTM delegate consisted of 16 academic members and postgraduate students and attracted over 100 delegates and 7 national and international keynote speakers and experts in events. In addition, Dr Fanny Vong, UTM Rector, attended the opening ceremony and met with leaders of Beijing International Studies University to discuss and exchange ideas for further collaborations.
