On 22 October, around 40 Year 1 students of the Bachelor of Science in International Business and Innovative Communication programme of the Macao University of Tourism, led by lecturer Mr. Kenton Chan, visited the CTM Macau in Taipa. Thanks to the hospitality and insights provided by representatives from various departments of CTM, students gained a deeper understanding of the company's development history and culture, as well as the latest advancements in 5.5G technology and its related smart applications. The students also learned how CTM's independently developed smart big data services support the growth of Macao's four key industries.
During the visit, students toured the Network Management Center, which features a large real-time network information display system and advanced traffic monitoring equipment. These tools enable the technical team to continuously monitor network operations. The Center is also equipped with network alert facilities that enhance the efficiency of emergency response. Students expressed great interest in the Center's daily operations and actively engaged by asking questions.
