UTM and University of Queensland offer
【2.5+2 Dual Bachelor's Degree Programme】

UTM signed a cooperation agreement with The University of Queensland (UQ), a prestigious university in Australia, in offering a "2.5+2" Dual Bachelor's Degree Programme. Through the joint programme, eligible UTM students can obtain both UTM bachelor degree and earn a second bachelor’s degree from the University of Queensland at the same time — in just 4.5 years through our credit recognition pathway.
Students in this dual programme will benefit from cutting-edge academic and teaching excellence in management provided by two leading institutions in Macao and Australia, which are joining forces to nurture marketing talents for the global business landscape.
"2.5+2" is available for UTM bachelor's students enrolled in the following programmes:
- Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Brand Management (MBM)
- Bachelor of Science in Tourism Retail and Marketing Management (TRMM)

Programme Highlights:

Programme structure:
- In the first and second years, study either the Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Brand Management or the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Retail and Marketing Management at UTM
- In the first semester of the third year, complete a professional internship at a UTM-recognised organisation. Upon completion of all required subjects (five semesters) at UTM, seamlessly transfer to UQ to complete a two-year (four-semester) Bachelor of Business Management programme in Australia
- UQ will recognise 16 credits (equivalent to 8 subjects) from UTM, meaning you only need to complete an additional 32 credits — approximately two years of full-time study — to earn the UQ Bachelor of Business Management degree
- Flexible entry options: UTM students can join UQ in either Semester 1 (February/March) or Semester 2 (July)
Eligibility:
- To be eligible for applying for the dual bachelor's programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Application requirements:
- UTM students must enrolled the BSc in MBM or BSc in TRMM study at UTM;
- Students must have achieved at least 70% equivalent average grade in the first two years of UTM BSc in MBM or BSc in TRMM study;
- Students must pass the Statistics course (RES2001) to meet the mathematics pre-requisite requirement for the UQ BBusMan programme;
- This should be supported by a UTM testimonial stating that all courses are taught and assessed in English signed by Pedagogic Affairs Department.
English Language Proficiency requirements:
- The current English entry requirement to UQ Bachelor of Business Management (BBusMan) programme is as follows:
- Students whose degree programmes are fully taught and assessed in English can be considered as meeting UQ’s English language entry requirement for the Bachelor of Business Management (BBusMan). In this case, students must submit an official letter or certificate issued by UTM’s Pedagogic Affairs Department confirming the medium of instruction and assessment.
- Alternatively, students who provide one of the following valid English test results: Academic Module IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no individual sub-band score less than 6.0; or Internet based TOEFL minimum total score of 87 with at least 21 in writing and at least 19 in speaking, listening and reading. - Students are required to settle the above-specified programme tuition fee (5 semesters) before they go to Australia. If students go beyond the normal duration, UTM charge the students by credit.
- The tuition fee paid will not be refunded.

In addition to tuition fees, students will have to assume costs related: -The living expenses in Queensland, Australia, -UQ Student Services and Amenities Fee, -International travel expenses, and medical insurance to cover the complete studying period at UQ.
