IFT Educational Restaurant is proud to present the authentic Indonesian Food Promotion on 9-13 March. Two chefs, Chef Astawan and Chef Sadjuni, are invited to be guest chefs during the week, to concoct an adventure to satisfy your gastronomic pleasure in this gloomy weather.
Indonesian cuisine may appear to be plain, but the flavour is strong and fiery. Unlike Thai or Vietnamese cuisines, which are popular in East Asian gastronomy, the scent of coconut and the spicy taste of Indonesian cuisine are mouth watering and unforgettable.
The two chefs, Astawan and Sadjuni, are culinary instructors at the Bali Tourism Institute. They will bring a variety of exotic Indonesian delights, including West Sumatra Tropical Salad, Fish and Seafood Consommé, Indonesian Chicken Curry, Fish Terrine, Roasted Sirloin in Young Bamboo, Braised Baby Squid in Kalas sauce, Grilled Fish served with Jimbaran Sambal and the famous Beef Stew in Rendang Gravy and Rainbow Layer Pudding.
