Our alumni Joe Yang joined the 2016 Wines of South Africa (WOSA) International Sommelier Cup. He is from Macau representing Asia who trumped regional competitors from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Japan, Korea and Thailand in the preliminary round. In the final round, eight contestants from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Sweden, the United States of America Germany, Canada, Kenya and Macao flown toto the Cape Winelands to compete in the prestigious event on Friday, September23, 2016. Finally he won the the WOSA International Sommelier Cup for second place.
