Bachelor of Science in Cultural and Heritage Management programme focuses on the core and interrelated areas of cultural and heritage management: (1) identification, assessment and protection, (2) marketing and promotion, and (3) community outreach programmes. The programme is designed to prepare students for management careers in the fields of heritage management, cultural tourism, cultural and creative industries, museums and galleries, exhibition industry, publication and mass media in governments, private and non-profit organisations.
Bachelor of Science in Tourism Business Management highlights developing a holistic perspective of the tourism system, interdependence of its various components, and the roles played by key stakeholders. Students will gain a deep understanding of the functioning of the operating sectors, such as tour operators, travel agencies, attractions and transportation, be well-formed of the service nature of tourism products, and master the skills in regard to creating satisfying and memorable experiences for guests. In full recognition of the globalisation of the tourism phenomenon and business opportunities, it gives equal attention to local, regional and global contexts and advocates fostering students' adaptability in working for a wide spectrum of culturally diverse tourism settings.
Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Brand Management offers knowledge and skills in marketing operation and management in the tourism context, in both physical and digital format. Upon graduation students will be able to operate and manage a brand in a sustainable manner, offer innovative business solutions to clients, and even pursue an entrepreneurial career by developing new brand from scratch where opportunities exist, in tourism destinations. The programme adopts a blended learning mode, integrating theoretical learning in classrooms and practical learning in labs and industry operational sites.
