This year the Institute had invited 4 alums coming back to IFT sharing their school life and working experience to our prospective students, two groups each in both morning and afternoon session. Morning Session: Ms. Fifi Wong and Ms. Sardonna Si, Afternoon Session: Mr. Max Ao Ieong and Mr. Eric Mou. Once again, thank you so much for all your time and contribution to the Institute activity. Without anyone of you, the activities would not be as succesful as it is.

In order to provide our current students more update information of the local hotel industry, an Alumni Sharing Session was successfully held on 17 November 2016 1930-2030 in the Pousada Conference Room. This time, we have the honour to invite our alumni, Ms. Joanne Lio and Mr. Adam Leong to talk about the current need of the industry.

The 2016 IFT Alumni Annual Dinner was successfully held on 8 June, 2016 (Wednesday) at the IFT Educational Restaurant. The aim of this dinner is to foster the relationship between the alumni and our students and provide a platform for them to update industry news and share their hardship throughout the years.  Thank you for your support and see you all next year!

To update what is happening on the Macau’s fast growing tourism and hospitality industry and to help building up students’ confidence and sense of belongings, IFT has the honor of inviting two alumni to be the guest speaker at our alumni sharing session which was held on 4th May 2016. Our thanks go to the continuing support from Ms. Racey U and Ms. Louise Fong.

IFT held “Beijing Night” on 14 March and alumni had a great gathering in Beijing!

IFT was invited by Macao Polytechnic Institute (IPM) Alumni Association to participate in the inter-university alumni basketball competition which was held on 27th December 2015. Nine alumni have joined this competition. They were happy to meet with their old friends and appreciate very much for giving them the opportunity to represent IFT again.

IFT Alumni Association successfully held an experiencing activity – Charity Visit to Poverty School in Qingyuan City, from 1 November to 2 November.  This activity aims to bring warmth to children studying and living in difficulties. During the two days, one group of alums visited a local elementary school which students mainly come from impoverished rural areas.  They organized many activities for children and also shared their learning experience with them, and encouraged them to continue their studies by giving them some small gifts. In addition, alums also visited different families in impoverished rural areas, they had interactions with the children and parents and gained further understanding on their living condition. The principal of the elementary school expressed their gratitude to IFT and IFTA. With the positive feedback and appreciation from the alums, IFTA will continue to organize this kind of charity activity in the future.

This time, we have the honour to invite our alumni, Mr. Nyon Lam and Ms. Peggy Wong to share their insights and expertise experience in the industry.

IFT held “Beijing Night” and alumni had a great gathering in Beijing! There will be alumni gathering in Guangzhou by the end of June and the one for Macao will be at 2 July, our alumni, see you soon!
