Curious about the career path of Heritage Management graduates? Wondering the knowledge and skills set required for a heritage professional in different fields? Not sure how you can better use the time in IFTM? Come and join us from 12 September for a month-long online talk series initiated by the IFTM Heritage Management Alumni, titled “When Heritage Meets…”. A total of nine alumni will share their personal experience with the illustrated presentation representing diverse professional background ranging from cultural heritage management, museum, academia, film, creative writing to underwater archaeology, in either private or public sectors, based in Mainland China, Macao, India, Canada, and UK. IFT went to Guangzhou and Shenzhen to recruit more outstanding students on June 26 and 27. The delegation also took this opportunity to meet IFT graduates in order to enhance the communication and exchange between the Institute and alumni.

In order to enrich the students’ learning experience at IFT and to help building up students’ confidence and sense of belongings, an Alumni Sharing Session under the theme "Delivering Exceptional Customer Experiences" was successfully held by IFT Alumni Association and Student Union on 25 April. This time, we have the honour to invite two experienced alumni, Ms. Tracy Ng (Club Manager, The Ritz-Carlton Macau) and Ms. Mancy Chong (Manager, Spa & Gallery - Banyan Tree Macau) to share with our students their experience throughout the years and give them some tips for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The IFT Alumni Annual Dinner 2019 – “Mirage of Time” was successfully held on 3rd May at the Kam Lai Heen of Grand Lapa Macau. This event was hosted by IFT Alumni Association and organized by year 2 students of Tourism Event Management. The dinner was strongly supported by all parties. A series of activities like lucky draw, entertaining performances and surprising gifts were offered during the event, around 80 IFT alumni attended the dinner and it was a great chance to reunite with old friends and recall the old memories. Thank you for your support!

In order to let our students to know more about the entrepreneurial environment in the Greater Bay Area and to help building up students’ confidence and sense of belongings, an Alumni Sharing Session under the theme "Opportunities for the Greater Bay Area" was successfully held by IFT Alumni Association and Student Union on 29 November. This time, we have the honour to invite two alumni who have been establishing their own business, Mr. Frick Ho (a self-employed investor - owns business and investment project in Mainland and Philippines)  and Mr. Kelvin U (Co-founder of Redirect Limited) to share with our students their hardship and experience starting up a business in Macau and Mainland throughout the years. Our thanks go to the continuing support from Mr. Frick Ho and Mr. Kelvin U.

旅遊學院黃竹君院長、技術暨學術輔助部朱振榮處長及校友事務部薛崇正先生於6月27日晚上與在廣州工作的校友共聚晚宴，了解到一眾校友畢業後在學歷提高方面和在不同行業發展的成績，看到部份來自不同省份和城市的校友們在大灣區工作及拓展抱負，值得欣慰。藉著是次活動也加強了學院與在廣州校友的聯繫，院長鼓勵校友們繼續為大灣區未來的發展作貢獻。
