Overview

Macao University of Tourism (UTM) invites eligible suppliers to join the Supplier Database of UTM, from which registered suppliers may be invited to tender. Interested parties please submit the following information:

1. Application form (click here to download or collect from the counter at Inspiration Building)
2. The latest Sale Tax (M/8) form issued by Financial Services Bureau.
3. The latest Business Registration Certificate issued by Commerce and Movable Property Registry.

Application can be submitted by one of the following means:

1. Hand in to the document counter at Inspiration Building during office hour【0900 – 1300，1430 – 1745（Mon - Thur）；0900 – 1300，1430 – 1730（Fri）】, or；
2. Email as attachment to Purchasing Team tender@utm.edu.mo, or；
3. Fax to Purchasing Team at 8598-3184.

UTM implements a Quality Management System and an Environmental Management System, please read the UTM Quality Policy and UTM Environmental Policy before completing the application form.

All information will be held confidential. Submitted documents are used solely for this application and will be retained by the University.

Notes for accepted applicants

UTM is currently operating the Environmental Management System (EMS) and we recommend our suppliers to also operate the related EMS policies for fulfilling our EMS requirements. For the environmental recommendations to our suppliers’ vehicles, please refers to the followings:

Supplier vehicle environmental recommendations:

• Supplier shall regularly schedule maintenance checks for vehicles, to ensure that vehicles maintain the best condition, reduce black smoke emissions;
• If possible, supplier’s drivers should switch off the engine whenever the vehicle is idle, to reduce the release of exhaust gas;
• Encourage supplier’s driver to drive with low fuel consumption, low pollution, low noise eco-driving attitudes;
• According to the legal requirements, drivers must refill unleaded fuel and ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel at licensed fuel stations.

Instructions for loading and unloading goods on campus

1. For the safety of personnel and transportation, loading / unloading goods should be handled in legal parking spaces or the designed parking area inside UTM campus. Drivers should pay attention to the entrance height limit and regulation of each car park. Locations include:
   1. Inspiration Building Car Park (the entrance height limit is 2M);
   2. Educational Restaurant Building Car Park (the entrance height limit is 2M) and the side space in front of the entrance;
   3. Forward Building Car Park (the entrance height limit is 2.5M);
   4. East Asia Hall Car Park (the entrance height limit is 1.9M);
   5. Yiu Tung Building Car Park (the entrance height limit is 1.9M), and a temporary permit for passing the campus gate must be obtained from the Campus Management Division in advance);
   6. Outdoor designed parking spaces of Educational Residence;
   7. All exceptional arrangements must be approved by the Campus Management Division in advance.
2. Attention:
   1. Delivery/pick-up vehicles should pay attention to the speed limits in each area. Stop on flat ground, pull the hand brake and switch off the engine, etc. Ensure that all are in safe condition before starting to load / unload goods. To protect all pedestrians and/or facilities in surroundings, make sure there is sufficient safety distance before reversing a vehicle or operating the tail-lift.
   2. For those delivery/pick-up vehicles outside campus area, still have to comply with campus traffic signs, the Macao Road Traffic Law and any other relevant regulations.

Invited suppliers who fail to provide quotations for 2 times in the same financial year will be removed from database if no written justification is given. Should the removed suppliers wish to join the database again, re-application will be accepted in the next year when the University starts a new round of invitation by advertisement.

If necessary, supplier may submit another application form for updates such as address or business nature.
